Job Description

  • Elaboration of work breakdown structures and project timelines applicable to avionics systems
  • Elaboration of architecture designs for avionics systems in response to stated system and subsystem requirements
  • Technical and project management of a multidisciplinary team in the scope of avionics technology development projects
  • Coordination of tasks involving electronics hardware and software design, modelling and simulation, and elaboration of the corresponding reports
  • Support to the elaboration of test, verification and validation plans for avionics hardware and software, including algorithms, models and sub-systems
  • Elaboration of performance assessment procedures and reports
  • Coordination of parallel-running tasks towards the completion of a complete system or subsystem 
  • Periodic reporting of project development status
  • Contribution to mid- and long-term technology development plans

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS (Licenciatura) Engineering degree in Electrical/Robotics/Aerospace engineering or equivalent
  • Experience of 3 years in R&D projects
  • Management experience in the scope of European Space Agency projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical background related to GNC, avionics and/or space hardware
  • Experience in the development of space-qualified avionics or hardware
