Projects

Spin.Works has been involved in space-related technology development since 2008. Our team is currently involved in challenges such as building smart Earth Observation cameras, a smart landing system to land the first european spacecraft on the Moon (Argonaut) and the mechanisms that move the parafoil for the Space Rider (a robotic space shuttle-like vehicle).
uPGRADE – NEXT The uPGRADE-next project aims to complete the development and testing phase, carry out the launch, and execute the first gravimetric mission ever performed by a nanosatellite. The satellite is virtually ready, a result of the previous uPGRADE project (P2020, No. 45927) developed in collaboration with the Center for Space Research at the
The main goal of iDLS-Demo is to develop, build and qualify for space operations a commercial instrument for visual navigation, automated obstacles detection and safe landing site selection (iDLS), in preparation for its integration and in-orbit demonstration in a real lunar landing mission.

A Spin.
The main goal of the UP project is to develop an integrated set of AOCS simulation, analysis, test & validation tools, and to apply them in the scope of a microsat and a
The main goal of the IONEA project is to develop an integrated set of test & analysis tools, image processing algorithms and an instrument with 3 navigation cameras and a dedicated payload data processor to enable fully autonomous navigation in cislunar & deep space.
The main goal of the AEROS Constellation is to develop, build, launch and demonstrate in orbit a prototype for an Earth Observation constellation.
The main goal of the VIRIATO project is to develop, build, validate and demonstrate an integrated prototype of a suborbital micro-launcher.
The main goal of the uPGRADE project is to develop and qualify for space operations a Gravity Recovery nanosatellite prototype.
The main goal of the ASTRIIS project is to develop, build and demonstrate a wide array of technologies applicable to the Economy of the Sea.
